Acetone and Xylene Spill Costs $15,000

On April 15 the NSW EPA issued a $15,000 fine to a construction supply company based in Wyong in response to a xylene spill in the previous year.

The 700 litre spill occurred when a “flammable wash solvent mix” of acetone and xylene was being moved by a forklift while not properly secured.
