Payment for Goods

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd accepts payment in the following forms:

• Credit Card
• Direct Bank Deposit or Money Transfer
• Bank or Company Cheque
• Formal Credit Account  (application form here)

Goods will not be shipped until either payment is received (funds fully cleared) OR formal Credit Account is established.

Freight charges are applicable in addition to cost of goods (see below).

Shipping Methods & Charges

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd has established TNT Road Express as our preferred carrier.

You may choose to arrange your own carrier to pick up your order.  We will not charge you for freight or handling in this case and will notify you when goods are ready for pick up.

Warranty of Goods

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd is committed to the protection of the environment and endeavours to provide the most appropriate and effective environment protection products available. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure compatibility of products supplied by Spill Station Australia and the substances they are using on their site. Since Spill Station Australia has no control over the installation, maintenance and/or application of these products they carry no warranty express or implied.

Returns and Claims

If any product supplied by Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd is proved to be defective upon receipt of goods, contact Spill Station Australia immediately. Defective goods will be replaced or a credit note issued. Prior approval must be obtained from Spill Station Australia before returning goods. Any claim for incorrect shipment, faulty or damaged goods on delivery, must be made within two working days of receipt of goods. Goods returned must be in their original packaging.

Privacy Statement

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd is required to comply with the 10 National Privacy Principles (the NPPs), as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (amended by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd will limit the collection and use of business and personal information to the minimum required, to ensure we deliver superior service. The primary purpose for collection of information is to advise Spill Station Australia customers about products, services and other opportunities as well as to administer general business activities.

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd will keep any and all information collected strictly confidential and will not reveal, sell, distribute, rent, licence, share or pass on any personal or business information to any third party unless we have been given consent (whether express or implied) by the individual/customer or are required by law.

Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd will attempt to keep customer and individuals’ files complete, up to date and accurate. Customers are entitled to edit or delete information previously supplied to us, unless we are required by law to retain it. Storage
Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd will take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the information that is held. This includes appropriate measures to protect electronic materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy.

Access to personal information
Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd will permit only authorised employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to personal information. Employees who violate the Privacy Policy will be subject to Spill Station Australia’s standard disciplinary procedures.

Identifiers
Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd does not and will not use a Commonwealth Government identifier (such as tax file numbers, driver’s licence numbers) as a method of identifying an individual or business.

Anonymity
Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd respects privacy and if it is requested that Spill Station Australia is not to use or disclose personal information in a particular manner or at all, this will be observed, but if this information is not provided, Spill Station Australia Pty Ltd may be unable to conduct business with an individual or company in an efficient and productive manner.
